A Silent Vow

A shallow lie,
A deep impression.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A bruised chin,
A raging emotion.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A broken dream,
An injured heart.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A deep breath,
A gentle smile.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A simple move on,
An effort too hard.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A step towards greatness,
A written farce.
Nothing said,
A silent vow.

A dream achieved,
Manchester United.
Enough said,
All needed was a silent vow.

  1. 'nothing said' but a lot 'conveyed' through this poem.. :) it signifies strength & determination :)

  1. Well you are asking for a review from a Chelsea Fan :P

    Here it goes -

Poem is laconic, nicely presented. It gives a pleasure to read. You involve football; that is great, but I do not understand how does it fit in the context, especially Manu.

According to me there are two parts of this poem; one feeling disappointed and hurt. Next, a simple move, a dream achieved, Manchester united. . . cannot get what is being conveyed over here!

A Disappointing revelation to a very passionate start.

The way of representing things is laudable!

    Kudos :)

  1. Nice one!!! Manchester United...tht was good!!!

  1. The fact that all our little worries that we face in our life is nothing compared to the joy that we get in supporting the greatest club in the world, Manchester United! :)
